Ophelia is an author, speaker, small-group facilitator at her church, and a business professional. She has a Bachelor of Science degree with emphasis in accounting. In addition, she has over three decades of accounting experience, in both profit and not-for-profit environments. She previously directed the financial activities of two ministries in the Dallas area, serving as comptroller with Park Cities Presbyterian Church and business manager with Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship. Prior to serving these ministries, she worked as an accountant for Arco Oil and Gas Company.

She enjoys using her accounting and professional skills to serve organizations that can benefit from her expertise. Her most recent divine appointment is as Office Manager for Grissett Enterprises, LLC/DBA McDonald’s. Ophelia received a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies from
Dallas Theological Seminary in 1989. Her goal is to encourage those who have been hurt deeply. One way she encourages others is by writing raw, real stories of redemption. She believes there is always a sweet side to life,
especially for those who know Christ. Her life verse is Isaiah 40:31. She has established a non profit 501(c)(3) organization, Annies Gifts of Love Charitable Foundation, as a funding  source to support and encourage survivors of domestic violence. www.anniesgiftsoflove.org.

Through her ministry of support, prayer, and encouragement, you will learn how to trust God in and through the storms of life. “He is near the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” (Psalm 34:18) She is compassionate and motivated to serve the Lord by serving others. Her desire is for all who hurt to be encouraged and know that Jesus' love  never fails.
